As part of my Master's studies, I produced a set of flash-cards and posters highlighting some of the social issues that occur in Nepal. These included:
Child Marriage
Child Labour
Pollution
Chhaupadi
Human Trafficking
Gender Equality
Sexual Harassment
Religous Harmony
These are hoped to be expanded on in the future and used to stimulate conversations in various communities within Nepal where these issues are prevalent.
Each illustration is formed digitally using Nepali lokta paper, which is a strong and durable paper made from the bark of the Lokta bush found in the high himalayan hills of Nepal.
